A German Yes/No bear made by Schuco in the 1920's.
This chap is so appealing, in his striped all in one pajamas.. He is in good strong condition and retains about 90% of his mohair. He has lost the covering from his tail. His pads have all been neatly recovered some time ago, His mechanism works well turning his head from side to side, however the "no" movement (up and down) is not working from the leaver.
Teddy's joints move well. One of the leg joints is a little stiff. He is 13 inches tall.
A pretty cotton dolls bonnet. It is hard to date this item, but my feeling is that it is 1950's. The fabric print and design of the hat suggest it could be earlier. It has an 11 inch diameter. THe ties have been cut short, and could be replaced with some pretty ribbon.. Please email for more details
An unusual pincushion doll with a Parian head. This may well have been a home made item, as i have never seen one like it before. It has a parian shoulder head, and a cloth had stuffed body. She wears a lace bonnet. I have not removed the bonnet as I do not want to damage the ribbon ties holding it closed. The doll and casing measure 5.5 inches in length. Please email for more details
A 10 inch Simon and Halbig wearing a lovely original dress . She is marked S&H 1079 DEP. She has a perfect head with no chips or cracks. There is a small blemish on the side of her head, where the coloring is slightly lighter in a small circle. The doll has pierced ears and 4 upper teeth. She has sleeping eyes, and some of the paint on the lids is missing. Her body is fully jointed and her legs are jointed above the knee. The varnish on one hand is thicker over an area, but there does not appear to be any damage. The body has stick jointed legs. I cannot be sure it is her original one, but it is of the right era. This is a rare size, to find fully jointed Please email for more details
