Payment and Shipping

Shipping charges are based on the TOTAL weight of an order not individual items!
All orders  insured against loss.  In the UK all  orders over 50 GBP in value are sent by Special Delivery. Overseas orders are sent airmail by International signed for or Parcelforce worldwide. We are happy to investigate other options for you

For customers outside of the UK with items weighing  over 2000g - Please contact me to get a postage price before you can complete your transaction.

If you find that you have been overcharged, when your parcel arrives, please let me know and I will refund you the overpayment.

In addition to Payal, payment can be made by: Sterling money order, Sterling cheque. or direct transfer. Please contact us if you would like the transfer money option.

Please note there are many shipping services available. We can look into alternatives for you. Enhanced insurance is possible. Once you have ordered your item please let us know if you wish to buy enhanced insurance and we will get a quote for you. If you have been overcharged for shipping, please let us know and we will refund the balance.

ordering Information

Most items on our web site are available for immediate delivery otherwise they are clearly marked as on hold or sold. Occasionally we are not able to mark items sold immediately, and hope this does not cause too much upset!

All orders and dispatch details will be confirmed by e-mail. We aim to dispatch your goods within 48 hours of receiving payment.

Returns Policy

When you receive your goods, please inspect carefully. If you are not delighted, please contact me immediately. Should the decision be made to return the item, you must do so within 7 days of receipt. Please inform me if this is your intention. As soon as I receive it, I will make sure it is in its original condition. If that is the case, I will notify you and gladly refund the cost of the bear, less shipping/handling/insurance.

Layaway scheme

Our layaway scheme is available for most items costing over £100. Here is how it works. You select an item (or items) that you wish to buy. Send us an order and a deposit of 33% You can then pay the balance over a maximum of 2 further months. We will ship your order when paid for in full. Please note that this is a binding contract, and deposits are non-refundable or transferable when contracts are not completed as agreed. To use our layaway service, please contact us first, and we will discuss your requirements.

A good selection of  antique dolls and bears are available at our unit. For our personal assistance it is best to make an appointment. Emporium Antique centre, Cliffe High Street. 

Lewes is the home to 5 antique centres where there are often bears and dolls to be found.  Daniel Agnew sells some of his treasures at a centre a few doors away. Danial and myself have a joint Facebook page.

There are great pubs and cafes in Lewes, and plenty to amuse the rest of the family. Here are some to the town's landmarks which you may wish to visit. Lewes Castle, the remains of Lewes Priory, Bull House (the former home of Tom Paine), Southover Grange and public gardens, and a 16th-century timber-framed Wealden hall house known as Anne of Cleves House. Other notable features of the area include the Glyndebourne festival, the Lewes Bonfire and the Lewes Pound.
